
…Urge Northern Elders To Stop Divisive Politics
The Northern Nigeria Youth Leaders Forum (NNYLF) have raised and donated N200 million to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s nomination forms for the 2027 presidential election.
The National Leader of NNYLF, Alhaji Murtala Muhammad Garba (GAMJI), in a communique released after the stakeholders’ meeting, noted that the group is committed to peaceful, and issue-based youth mobilization across Northern Nigeria.

“Strengthen strategic partnerships with government institutions, development partners, traditional and community leaders, and the private sector to promote youth-focused initiatives in leadership, entrepreneurship, civic education, and social stability.
“Promote peace and responsible political conduct, and reject all forms of violence, misinformation, and divisive narratives.”
Garba however noted that the support is not limited to the youth, but also has the backing of grand patrons, including Nuhu Ribadu, and tribal leaders from across the 19 northern states.
