The New Nigeria Mandate (NNM) has formally launched its Osun State Chapter and announced the appointment of its pioneer State Executive Council to spearhead the activities of the socio-political movement in the state.
The group, in a statement issued by the Pioneer President of the Osun State Chapter, Comrade Oluwole Olutunde Aboke (O’Destiny), said it was founded on the principles of responsible leadership, active citizenship, justice, accountability and collective participation in nation-building.
Aboke said the New Nigeria Mandate aims to inspire hope, encourage civic engagement and contribute to the emergence of a united, peaceful and prosperous Nigeria through grassroots mobilisation, policy advocacy and community-driven initiatives.
He described the establishment of the Osun chapter as the beginning of a new phase of constructive engagement designed to promote good governance and sustainable development across the state.
Calling on students, youths, professionals, artisans, women and community leaders to identify with the movement, Aboke urged patriotic Nigerians to work together towards building a nation founded on justice, equity, integrity and democratic values.
As part of efforts to strengthen the organisation’s leadership structure, the Pioneer President also announced the appointment of members of the pioneer State Executive Council, saying the appointments were based on their leadership qualities, integrity and commitment to the ideals of the movement.
The newly appointed officers are Comrade Solomon Abel Ayobami (AY Aluta) as Vice President; Comrade Bamidele Quadril (Captain Black) as General Secretary; Comrade Azeez Tajudeen Adebayo (Honourable) as Public Relations Officer; Comrade Ashiwel Samuel Bamise (Ashiwel) as Spokesperson; Comrade Abubakr Musefiu Damilare (Golden Son) as Director of Contact and Mobilisation; Comrade Alabi Ibraheem Ayomide (Ib Pol) as Director of Critical Engagement; Comrade Isiaq Toheeb (Harbey) as Assistant General Secretary; Comrade Adewuyi Kayode Adeyemi as Director of Security Affairs; and Comrade Adewale Peace Oyindamola as Director of Gender.
According to the appointment letters dated July 14, 2026, the appointments take immediate effect. The new executives were charged to discharge their responsibilities with dedication, discipline, accountability and loyalty while upholding the values of integrity, transparency, inclusiveness and service to humanity.
Aboke expressed confidence that the pioneer executive would work collectively to establish a vibrant Osun State chapter capable of advancing the movement’s vision of “Building a Better Nigeria Together.”
